Ma.çé can be seen each week strutting his stuff on WWE programming, but the fashion model had much different plans in mind for his character.
Following the end of Retribution, Mace was re-branded Ma.çé in April 2022 and has been featured alongside Maxxine Dupri and Mansoor (now mån.sôör) ever since.
Speaking to the “Metro UK” newspaper, Ma.çé revealed that he initially pitched to be a cyberpunk mercenary, a bounty hunter, or an executioner, complete with an axe and hood.
While concept art was created for some of Ma.çé’s ideas, plans were swiftly dropped once the fashion model character was brought up. He said,
“They gave me a call and they were like, ‘All that stuff? Nah! What we’re gonna do is you’re going to be a male model now.’ I said, ‘Great!’ They said, ‘You’re going to do it with Mån.sôör.’ I was like, ‘Even better! Rock and roll!’”
The Maximum Male Models were drafted to RAW during this year’s WWE Draft.
