Lyra Valkyria emerged victorious in her Triple Threat first-round match, ensuring her progression to the next stage in the tournament for the maiden WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The decisive match, which also featured Ivy Nile and Zelina Vega, unfolded on WWE Monday Night RAW on December 9, 2024.
Valkyria now steps into the semifinals alongside Dakota Kai, who had previously overcome Shayna Baszler and Katana Chance in her duel. The challenger that Valkyria will go up against in the second round of the semifinals remains unconfirmed, though possibilities include Alba Fyre, Kairi Sane or Natalya.
Meanwhile, WWE is yet to announce the date for the tournament’s finale, though speculation is rampant that it will coincide with Raw’s debut on Netflix on January 6, 2025.
