The Lucha Brothers notched a huge win tonight on AEW Dynamite, as they defeated Varsity Blonds in the semifinals of the AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament.

In a relatively quick match, it was clear that the Lucha Brothers came out with a ton of fire, as Penta El Zero M was even able to survive a huge superkick from Brian Pillman Jr. Both teams threw everything they had at each other all match long. Toward the end of the contest, things broke down and only Rey Fenix and Griff Garrison were left standing. After a huge slam to Fenix, Garrison nearly ended the match with a pin, but Penta came running in to break it up. The Lucha Brothers then put the match away with a huge piledriver on Pillman for the win.

With the victory, The Lucha Brothers will now face off against Jurassic Express on Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage. The winner will get a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship against the Young Bucks at All Out. Despite their upcoming match, the two teams still partnered together to take down The Elite, who showed up at ringside after the match to try and intimidate the potential challengers.

#LuchaBros and #JurassicExpress will battle this Friday on #AEWRampage, but they BOTH can't stand the @youngbucks.
