Tonight’s episode of NXT ended with a beatdown at the hands of what Pat McAfee is now calling one of the best groups in wrestling history. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch defended their NXT Tag Team Championships against Breezango, and after the match, the duo – along with Pete Dunne and McAfee – took down Breezango and Drake Maverick in a brutal assault.
The match came to an end when McAfee got involved, distracting the referee while Dunne pulled Breeze off the apron. Lorcan and Burch were then able to land their finisher on Fandango for the win, giving the duo another big title defense. After the match, Drake Maverick – who had come down to the ring to attack Lorcan – tried to attack McAfee and the group, but was quickly taken out. With a huge brawl breaking out, it was McAfee and his trio of superstars who came out on top, taking out both Breezango and Maverick in a big display of power.
