Just a few days following his headline appearance at the WWE Money In The Bank 2025 match with fellow wrestler John Cena, where they were defeated by Cody Rhodes and “Main Event” Jey Uso, Logan Paul reflected on the wild night on an episode of his podcast – “IMPAULSIVE”. Without any mincing of words, he described the grueling toll the match had on him.

Paul shared his current condition, revealing that he is dealing with a painful hematoma on his shin. This injury happened when he successfully performed a springboard moonsault on Jey Uso, breaking through the announce table in the process. The online celebrity turned WWE superstar confessed that he had suggested this risky move during the match’s planning stage, only to be met with skepticism by Cena.

In Logan’s words,
“Hey there, doing okay. Except for this full-blown hematoma on my shin. It’s flaring up. I told John before the match that I was planning this move. He said, ‘You can’t make that jump.’ I insisted, ‘I swear I can.’ He repeated, seriously: ‘You can’t make that jump.’ And, I just said, ‘Let’s see, buddy!’”

Though Paul was successful in performing the move, the landing was far from smooth. It was so harsh that he was momentarily scared that he had seriously injured himself. He further added,

“The jump was spot on, but oh boy, the landing was savage. Extremely savage. For an instant, I was afraid I had fractured both my shins. I was lying there thinking, ‘This might be the end.’”

As Paul lay down, recovering from the moonsault, a surprised crowd cheering the unexpected return of WWE veteran, R-Truth, stole the show. This was a shock to many, Paul included, as word had spread that WWE had chosen not to renew Truth’s contract. However, intense support from fans and respect from fellow wrestlers reportedly altered that decision.

Paul vividly recounted his experience, saying, “Man, I crashed through the table and was done for, on the brink of passing out. I’m lying there gasping — not pretending to be in pain, but genuinely suffering. I’m in a daze, rooting for Cena, ‘Come on John, you’ve got this!’ Then, out of the blue, R-Truth shows up. I was sure he’d left! Dismissed!”

To add to Paul’s surprise, he found out that no one had informed him of Truth’s return. Updating on that surprise, Logan added, “Nobody informed me. I was completely in the dark. As I lay there thinking, ‘Why on earth is he here!?’ And to top it off he hits John and we end up losing the match! It was quite the spectacle.”
