Dominik Mysterio faces a daunting situation as he will be locked inside a shark cage suspended above the ring at the Bad Blood wrestling event, says Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.
Mysterio will be held captive in this soaring cage during the forthcoming pay-per-view event, which will see Morgan defend her championship title against Rhea Ripley.
Whilst featuring on a recent episode of the “Cheap Heat” podcast, Morgan expressed her worries for Mysterio who reportedly suffers from a fear of confined spaces. Her exact words were:
“First of all, it’s dangerous. Second of all, the amount of trauma that man has. He doesn’t like heights, and also [he’ll be] behind the bars. And also, he’s claustrophobic, truly, genuinely. He might have a hard time up there. He’s going to have a hard time up there.”
Despite Mysterio’s claustrophobia claims, it didn’t stop him from taking part in the previous year’s WarGames match, where he found himself in a restricted cell.
In the same podcast episode, Morgan unfolds her game plan for her upcoming encounter with Ripley, acknowledging Ripley’s physical superiority in their match. Morgan stated:
“Like I said on Monday [on WWE Raw], I know Rhea is bigger than me, I know that Rhea is stronger than me, but I know that I am smarter than her. So, I’m going to figure it out, and I’m going to get Daddy Dom down from that shark cage as fast as I can.”
Morgan has been the reigning champion since her victory at the WWE King & Queen of the Ring. She defended her title against Ripley at SummerSlam, and an unexpected turn of events saw Dominik turning against Rhea.
