WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan had an engaging session recently on the podcast “Insight With Chris Van Vliet”. During the conversation, she reflected on her ongoing stint in the WWE, compared her two victories, and shared her wisdom had she had the opportunity to advise herself a decade ago.
Take a look at some salient aspects of the podcast conversation:
Speaking about her two successful Championship stints, she pointed out the striking contrast in experiences. She recalled her initial disbelief upon clinching the SmackDown title. She described it as the apex of her dreams, where she ended up triumphant against Ronda Rousey, secured her first title, and was ultimately crowned Money in the Bank. However, secured her latest victory with much more confidence and conviction, basking in the realization of her hard work paying off.
Reflecting on what wisdom she could offer to her younger self, Morgan wished she had more faith in herself. She admitted battling insecurities and doubting her talent and place in the ring due to a lack of athletic heritage or family lineage in the sport. Addressing her younger self, she would advise assurance, self-confidence, and the realization that the journey ahead will be more thrilling and rewarding than imagined.
Discussing when she truly settled into her WWE career, Morgan identified the years leading up to her Money in the Bank victory in 2022. She acknowledged that her sabbatical played a significant role in this realisation, allowing her to regain her sense of self and come back stronger and more confident.
