Appearing recently on the “No-Contest Wrestling” podcast, wrestling superstar Liv Morgan unveiled details about her life during the dissolution of The Riott Squad. She used the term ‘scary’ to depict this phase of her journey.
Notable excerpts of Morgan’s discussion on the podcast can be found below:
Morgan on discovering The Riott Squad’s dissolution: “Upon uncovering that The Riott Squad was set to disband – this understandably left us shattered, for a host of reasons. We were a unit, brought together in an improvised manner, and initially, I didn’t share personal connections with Ruby or Sara. However, we formed a solid bond over time and they swiftly became akin to sisters for me. The breakup announcement came without warning … our time together was valuable and it was a period of immense growth and learning for all of us.”
Morgan on her fear and anticipation in this timeframe: “Being severed from that comfort zone and embraced by uncertainty was intimidating and triggering, yet there was a tinge of exhilaration for what lay ahead. I was stereotyped as The Riott Squad’s most vulnerable member and this offered me a chance to stand independently and validate my skills.”
