Liv Morgan expressed disappointment over WWE’s decision to decrease the number of house shows it presents currently. It’s worth noting that WWE decided to limit their house shows due to lackluster profitability.
In a conversation with The New York Post, Morgan shared her opinion on the subject. She stated,
“I’m sad to see them kind of go a little bit because the house shows are so much fun and it’s so much more intimate. House shows are truly for the love of the game. House shows are for the love of the art of wrestling, performing and being with the fans and interacting with fans on a more intimate level. Also, for me, I feel like that’s when I improved by having so many repetitions on these live events in 2017, 18, 19 – I was at every single live event. But it made me better as I was getting all this practice.”
She further added, “I’m a bit disappointed for the new generation of young men and women in wrestling who won’t get the precious experience and practice from live events. But it cannot be changed. Having time at home is also essential. We spend a lot of time away from our family and friends. While it’s relaxing, I have a soft corner for live events.”
Additionally, Alistair McGeorge of Metro held an interview with WWE World Champion, GUNTHER, who discussed the future of WWE pay-per-view events in Europe.
Key points from the conversation are shared below:
When asked about the plans to come: “We’re only just beginning. The European expansion isn’t over, and I believe more is on the horizon. I’m delighted to have established myself as one of the leading faces in representing the company.”
On WWE returning to Manchester with a live event on the 16th of October: “I’m keen to see who my adversary will be in Manchester. I’m always ecstatic to visit England. I’ve created numerous memorable moments there, and I think the fans are distinctive.”
