Netflix & WWE held a collaborative event named ‘Lunch and Learn’ at Netflix HQ on a recent Tuesday, which saw former WWE Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch, among the attendees.

Liv Morgan, the current WWE Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair also graced the occasion. In a humorous move, Liv Morgan uploaded an altered image from the meetup on Twitter, in which she used emojis to cover the faces of Lynch, Ripley and Bianca Belair. You can take a look at her tweet here:

Meanwhile, Ethan Page, a WWE NXT superstar, recently sat down for an interview with Sports Illustrated, where he shared his views on dealing with budding wrestling talents in the industry.

Highlights from the interview are as follows:

On mentoring newcomers in wrestling: “With limitless patience. Sure, that’s the approach. Here’s a case in point. I did a visit to a pediatric hospital last Thursday. It’s an in-person event for the hospitalized children. They have their own broadcasting network, having stars like me visit, talk and get interviewed. It’s a wonderful initiative.”

On his affection for wrestling: “When asked when I knew I fell for wrestling, I mentioned my childhood experiences of watching it with my father. Contrarily, the others said they fell in love when they got hired.” He continues, “But it’s not a negative thing. Despite my 18 years of devotion to wrestling, it may have taken them just living their life to end up in the same place as me. For this, you need a lot of patience.”

On respecting individual journeys: “It also demands maturity and understanding that each person charts their own path. They needed to excel in their field for WWE to even consider them, which underlines that they are already special before coming on board in professional wrestling.”
