WWE Superstar Liv Morgan was arrested on Thursday for possession of marijuana.
Morgan was arrested in Sumter Country, Florida at 6:30 PM on Thursday after a routine traffic stop resulted in charges of possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams), possession of drug equipment and possession of drugs. For those unaware, Florida is one of the few remaining states that does not have marijuana legalized.
The police report notes that a Sumter County Sheriff’s Deputy executed a traffic stop after a jeep she was driving crossed over the lines of a county road. The officer detected the smell of marijuana as he approached the vehicle. Morgan’s jeep was then searched and a small plastic bag with suspected marijuana and a vape pen with an “oil-like substance” were found. Both tested positive for marijuana.
Morgan posted a bond of $3,000 at 10:04 PM on Thursday night.
WWE hasn’t addressed the arrest as of this writing.
For what it’s worth, WWE has softened its stance on marijuana in recent years so it’s unlikely anything will come of this.
