Lio Rush Wins Major League Wrestling Middleweight Title
Major League Wrestling has a new middleweight champion as Lio Rush won the strap at MLW Kings of Colosseum.
Rush faced reigning champion Myron Reed at the event. While Reed had a great showing himself, Rush would wind up being too much for the former champion. Rush would hit a frog splash after hitting a slingshot cutter for the win. After the match, Rush called himself the “Moneyweight Champion” and that this success was expected of him stepping inside MLW.
