Lio Rush Returns To NXT, Becomes #1 Contender For Cruiserweight Title
After a lengthy hiatus from WWE television, Lio Rush is back as part of NXT. During Wednesday’s episode of NXT, Rush made a surprise return to the ring, and took on Oney Lorcan for a chance to become the number one contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Perhaps surprising no one, Rush showed off just how talented he can be, taking down Lorcan and cementing his spot as the next contender for the Cruiserweight title.

After a back-and-forth match between the two stellar superstars, Rush was able to lock in his victory with a big counter over Lorcan, getting away from another Blockbuster and landing a standing Spanish Fly on Lorcan. Rush then headed to the top rope, where he landed a frog splash to claim his victory.
