Lio Rush Reflects On His WWE NXT Return (Video)
The WWE Performance Center YouTube channel has released a video looking at the return of Lio Rush to NXT.
This happened last Wednesday when Rush made a surprise appearance on the show that marked his first match in six months.
This is where he beat Oney Lorcan to become the number one contender to Drew Gulak and the WWE Cruiserweight Title.
Rush stated in the middle of the video, “What’s next for me in NXT? I feel like I have so much to prove. I have a lot of things that I set out to do in the professional wrestling/sports entertainment world. A lot of unfinished business here in NXT. A lot of people that are looking up to me, that are rooting for me, that want me to succeed. I gotta be a role model for them.”
After making a surprise NXT return, Lio Rush opens up about being away from the ring for more than five months and describes what it feels like to once again compete in front of the NXT Universe.
