AEW/Ring of Honor wrestler, Mansoor, made a witty bilingual confession during his appearance on CMLL Informa, that has caught everyone’s attention.
While being a guest on the August 7 edition of the popular show, Mansoor expressed his excitement about competing in the CMLL Grand Prix – which signifies his first-ever in-ring performance under the banner of this promotion. Articulating his enthusiasm, he stated,
“My name is Mansoor. I’m bi a lot of things, and lingual is one of them. Because on August 23rd, I will be making my Arena Mexico debut for CMLL, and I fully intend to win that Grand Prix.”
Interestingly, Mansoor’s statement traces its roots back to a witty play of words by Triple H, from the infamous Attitude Era, during his stint at commentary. Replying to a question about being bilingual, The Game humorously retorted with “I’m bi a lot of things but lingual ain’t one of them” alluding to a possible double entendre.
Certainly, these mentioned exchanges of words add to the vibrant and unpredictably fun aspect of the wrestling entertainment industry.
The official Twitter handle of Lucha Libre CMLL posted regarding Mansoor’s statement and his aspirations for the #GrandPrixCMLL event that is scheduled for 2024.
