AEW has parted ways with Leyla Hirsch.
As we earlier revealed on eWn, Leyla ceased being under the AEW contract from March 1, rendering her an independent wrestler.
Leyla’s profile was taken down from the AEW roster page this past weekend.
Leyla initially joined AEW in 2020 on a per-visit basis before officially signing a year-long contract on March 1, 2021.
Her last appearance on AEW programming was in June, and she recorded her last victory on March 30, 2022.
Leyla sustained an injury following this, and managed to return to action in June 2023. Despite her comeback, her performances were predominantly on the ROH brand, with only four defeats in AEW.
Her last competitive appearance for the AEW/ROH was at the ROH Final Battle 2024, which took place at the Hammerstein Ballroom on December 20.
