The Wrestling Insider Journal has revealed that “Legit” Leyla Hirsch is scheduled to part ways with AEW starting tomorrow.
Today marks the end of Leyla’s legal affiliations with AEW, as her contract was valid until the end of February. It implies that she is set to embrace the free-agent status from March 1 onwards.
Leyla initiated her involvement with AEW in 2020 on a per-appearance agreement, and subsequently signed a formal contract on March 1 of the following year, 2021.
After March, Leyla was absent from AEW television until June, her last victory being secured on March 30, 2022.
An injury to Leyla occurred thereafter, causing her to take a hiatus and make a comeback in June 2023. Despite this, the majority of her appearances occurred under the ROH brand, where she merely experienced four defeats in AEW.
Her final duel within the AEW/ROH framework transpired at the ROH Final Battle 2024 event, held on December 20 at the prominent Hammerstein Ballroom.
