Recent news has revealed that Lex Luger got hitched, as stated in a chat with Eric Bischoff while doing a combined podcast episode between Bischoff’s “83 Weeks” and his own show “Lex Expressed”.
He was accompanied by his close associate and workout buddy, Diamond Dallas Page, when Luger conversed about a range of subjects, including his latest matrimonial event.
“I tied the knot. I was single for 17 years, with no women around in my life. I met this woman last year named Robin, and we began to spend time together and eventually started to feel a connection. Initially, eloping was the plan, but things panned out differently when Pastor Steve came into the picture. He was in my hotel room, we got down on our knees, prayed, and I turned to God. That was on April 23, 2006. Nine years later, he ordained me. This past Friday night, he solemnized our vows in our home’s back patio with only a few of our closest people. We didn’t want a grand wedding but it turned out to be quite memorable, having Pastor Steve present during my spiritual awakening, my ordination, and my wedding, made it all so special. It was like hitting a trifecta.”
Let’s convey our good wishes to the future member of the WWE Hall of Fame!
During a recent “WWE Retrospective” episode, a WWE Hall of Famer shared some insights about her WWE entry, her experience with Albert and more.
Here are few standout points:
Regarding her debut on the TV: “My first appearance on television has left a good impression on me. I was brought on tour by Lilian Garcia and was just waiting for the perfect storyline to emerge. We were at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island when they offered me an idea to debut that night as a team with Test and Albert, referred to as T&A, which stands for talent and ability too.”
About her costume: “You can easily find a cowboy hat in any mall so I thought of having one. I needed an outfit that was characteristic and could become my signature. I got the hat, the jacket and was trying to pull out the character. Years later, I returned with the same style like a call back to my first day.”
Working with Albert: “Looking back, Albert was a mentor to me. After every match, he would take me aside and give me feedback. I wanted to learn and improve as much as I could and he was always there to help. Now you see him, excelling at NXT and it feels like this was his true calling. He always tried to find a ‘Trish element’ in each match. He knew that the valet was an important part of each match and that it was crucial to find the right moment to create a compelling storyline.”
