At the recent AEW All In 2024 pay-per-view, MJF showed off ring attire that strongly resembled that of Lex Luger during WrestleMania X. Lex Luger responded on Twitter by playfully suggesting that MJF had pilfered his costume. He posted, “I thought I may have noticed a pair of my tights missing the other day.”
In other news, the TNA World Title will be defended by Nic Nemeth against Josh Alexander in a grueling 60-minute Iron Man Match at the upcoming Emergence pay-per-view event. While on the “Under the Ring” podcast, Nemeth explained his reasoning behind choosing the match format and assured fans he would not disappoint. He commented:
“Someone like me who has not gone an hour in a really long time…But if you’re never ever tired and you can outlast them, there is a chance you could always come from behind and make a victory….I will not give you less than a 100%…. It’s going to be a showcase of two competitors who do not want to be bested by the other, and that will make it an extra special match. In this era, to hold people’s attention, you’ve got to be fantastic…I promise you, we’ll definitely deliver and you know we can.”
