On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Lex Luger thanked WWE for letting him attend Sting’s final match despite being signed to a WWE Legends contract.
Luger said, “Incredible atmosphere. When I first heard, I asked him, ‘Are you guys going on last?’ I guess they debated that a little bit. Sometimes, those pay-per-views, they do a warm up show. It was hot in there and sometimes you can lose the crowd, but that crowd was phenomenal. They stayed hot. They got us out there so we could soak up the atmosphere. WWE is classy. They said we can go, just don’t be on camera, interview, or be part of the match. It was an incredible evening.”
On a recent edition of the “Under the Ring” podcast, AEW International Champion Roderick Strong discussed his admiration for his former WWE colleague, Tyson Kidd (TJ Wilson), who currently works as a backstage producer.
Strong said, “I absolutely love TJ. He’s an amazing person as well. I’m grateful, obviously, [to have met] him through the wrestling business. Just to know them and the attachment and everything, he’s one that I never got to work with that I really, you know, wish I could have because he’s got a great brain and he could get it done.”
