Leon Ruff Tags With Damian Priest, Defeats Legado Del Fantasma

Tonight’s episode of NXT was supposed to open up with Leon Ruff & Curt Stallion teaming up, but after Stallion was attacked by Legado del Fantasma in the back, Damian Priest stepped up to team up with Ruff.
After convincing William Regal to put him in the match, Priest was able to help Ruff walk away with a big victory, as the duo took down Legado del Fantasma with Johnny Gargano watching on from ringside. Late in the match, Priest landed a huge right hand on Mendoza, and then tried to set up The Reckoning, but was tagged out by Ruff, who wanted to do the finishing job by himself. However, Priest – clearly annoyed by Ruff – landed The Reckoning anyway, which was followed by Ruff hitting a big splash off the top rope on Mendoza for the win.
Tonight, they win as teammates. This Sunday at #NXTTakeOver: WarGames, @LEONRUFF_ & @ArcherOfInfamy fight as competitors over the #NXTNATitle! #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/zFNm6TsgD0
