In the recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE legends Mark Henry and Bully Ray shared their thoughts on R-Truth’s unexpected reappearance at the WWE Money In The Bank 2025, anticipating that his exit was perhaps a preplanned scenario.
Bully Ray emphasized the fact that the wrestling media were kept completely in the dark about R-Truth’s comeback, with news about his return coming out only afterward.
Further developments took place on a WWE RAW event, where the 53-year old veteran decided to revisit his roots and announced he will be known going forward by his birth name, Ron Killings.
Some noteworthy points from the podcast conversation are included below:
Bully Ray sharing his viewpoint on Ron Killings, aka R-Truth, making a comeback at WWE Money in the Bank: “My particular issue with the entire situation is this: prior to R-Truth gatecrashing the Money in the Bank event, there’s no piece of intel floating around. Then, out of the blue, the surprise appearance takes place and every wrestling scoop publication has some or the other detail about the event.”
Mark Henry, presenting his theory about Ron Killings, aka R-Truth, having strategized something: “Truth never reciprocated to my financial conversations, nor did he respond to my crew in the United Kingdom about accompanying us on our tour. Therefore, he was obviously aware of something… I mean, if someone made a financial proposition to me, I’d say, ‘Let’s have a discussion.’ Our conversation concluded after the offer was made.”
