The World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) most recent trademark application suggests the imminent arrival of a fresh broadcast spectacle that will delve into the company’s rich history and upcoming talent.

Outlined in the registration filed on October 19, names such as ‘WWE LFG’ and ‘WWE Legends & Future Greats’ were mentioned. These were specifically categorized under “A program delving into the realm of professional wrestling.”

The dossier for the trademark expounds as follows:

“An exploration of professional wrestling; organizing and exhibiting live wrestling tournaments, along with their broadcastings available through television and a variety of platform across several types of transmission media; offering wrestling-related updates and data via broadcast media like television and dispensed through different channels over multiple transmission media; provision of information in the sports sector via broadcast media such as television and over various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing a website devoted to wrestling.”

WWE is known for its slew of biographical TV shows over the past years, with titles like ‘Biography: WWE Legends’ and ‘WWE Rivals’ in partnership with A&E Network.

Come January, there’s a significant modulation in WWE’s broadcast arrangements as WWE RAW is moving to the streaming giant, Netflix, as per a valuable deal.

Furthermore, fans hailing from outside the U.S. can also look forward to watching WWE SmackDown, WWE NXT, and WWE’s exclusive pay-per-view spectacles on the omnipresent streaming platform from the beginning of the new year.
