Joe Gacy suffered an apparent injury during his match against Oba Femi on this week’s episode of WWE NXT, and a new report has an update on him.

The match ended awkwardly when the referee threw up the ‘X’ sign after checking on Gacy following a slam by Femi resulting in Gacy’s head hitting the mat.

Fightful Select is reporting that the injury scare was legitimate and that officials were worried about a concussion.

Gacy walked to the back on his own, and the announcement of a scheduled match for Stand & Deliver between him and Shawn Spears, who interfered during the match, was briefly withheld.

The injury scare reportedly caused some necessary changes as there was supposed to be a segment between Femi and his challengers Dijak and Josh Briggs following the match.

Instead, the segment was filmed backstage on short notice and Gacy also featured in a segment where he informed Ava that he was fine and asked to face Spears at Saturday’s pay-per-view event in Philadelphia, PA.

Speaking of WrestleMania, bodybuilder Joey Swoll has announced that he will be at the Showcase of Immortals following his recent spat with Grayson Waller & Austin Theory.

Swoll, a bodybuilder and fitness coach, called out Waller and Theory after the duo filmed themselves at the gym. Waller tweeted,

“This giant flop acting all tough behind his phone, come find us idiot!

Also Joey Swoll fans are somehow both uglier and cringier than the Swifties”

Swoll later responded with a video noting that he will see the two at WrestleMania 40, as you can see below:

Injury Scare for Joe Gacy on WWE NXT

During a recent episode of WWE NXT, Joe Gacy suffered an apparent injury during his match against Oba Femi. The match took an unexpected turn when the referee threw up the ‘X’ sign after Gacy’s head hit the mat following a slam by Femi. This raised concerns among officials, who were worried about a possible concussion.

Fortunately, Gacy was able to walk to the back on his own, alleviating some of the immediate worries. However, the injury scare did cause some necessary changes to the show’s schedule. Initially, there was supposed to be a segment between Femi and his challengers Dijak and Josh Briggs following the match. Instead, the segment was filmed backstage on short notice.

Despite the injury scare, Gacy still made an appearance in a segment where he assured Ava that he was fine and expressed his desire to face Shawn Spears at the upcoming Stand & Deliver pay-per-view event in Philadelphia, PA. The announcement of their scheduled match was briefly withheld due to the injury concerns.

Meanwhile, in other WWE news, bodybuilder Joey Swoll has announced his presence at WrestleMania. Swoll recently engaged in a spat with Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, leading to his decision to attend the Showcase of Immortals.

The conflict between Swoll and Waller and Theory began when the duo filmed themselves at the gym. Waller took to Twitter to taunt Swoll, calling him a “giant flop” and criticizing his fans. Swoll responded with a video, declaring that he would confront Waller and Theory at WrestleMania 40.

This announcement adds an exciting element to WrestleMania, as fans can now anticipate a showdown between Swoll and the duo who provoked him. Swoll’s presence at the event is sure to generate buzz among wrestling enthusiasts and bodybuilding fans alike.

As the wrestling world eagerly awaits Stand & Deliver and WrestleMania, it is hoped that Joe Gacy’s injury is not serious and that he will be able to compete as planned. In the meantime, fans can look forward to the clash between Joey Swoll and Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, which promises to be a thrilling encounter at WrestleMania 40.
