Reports have indicated that WWE is set to air its inaugural two episodes of NXT on The CW Network. These airings are to take place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago on Tuesday, October 1, and at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on Tuesday, October 8, which we had initially revealed.
It has been confirmed that CM Punk will make his appearance at the Chicago show while St. Louis will enjoy the presence of Randy Orton. Fans can purchase tickets for both these events starting from Thursday, August 15, at 10:00 AM local time.
Following a strategic deal inked with The CW Network in November of the previous year, WWE anticipates booking notable matches for these two eventful shows.
Pwinsider has revealed through its reports that there have been internal talks about hosting more shows outside of the WWE Performance Center to bolster NXT’s fan base. The organization considers this movement to the network as a potential way of elevating NXT’s standing and an opportunity to introduce the brand to younger fans.
In addition to this, WWE is set to integrate an increased number of main roster talents in the form of recurring cast and guest stars to push the promotion of NXT.
