During a televised match with Viva Van in Ring of Honor (ROH) on May 16, Athena seemed to have sustained a lower leg injury.
Those present observed her difficulty in bearing weight on her ankle, necessitating aid to exit the ring. As per Dave Meltzer in his report for the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:
“The injury of Athena, an ankle damage, isn’t as severe as previously thought and she’s anticipated to be back in few weeks.”
