The viewership numbers for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite have been adjusted due to a Nielsen error. Initially, it was reported that the show brought in 801,000 viewers with a 0.27 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. However, it has now been revealed that the final numbers for AEW Dynamite were actually 798,000 viewers with the same 0.27 demo rating.
Nielsen is a well-known and trusted source for television ratings, but occasionally errors can occur in their data collection and reporting process. In this case, it seems that the six-minute overrun of the show was not included in the initial viewership numbers. This adjustment may not seem significant, but it is important for accurately assessing the popularity and success of a television program.
AEW Dynamite is a professional wrestling show that airs on TNT. It has gained a loyal following since its debut in 2019 and has been praised for its high-quality matches and engaging storylines. The show features a mix of established wrestling stars and up-and-coming talent, providing a fresh alternative to other wrestling promotions.
In addition to the viewership adjustment, AEW has also announced some exciting matches for their upcoming episode of AEW Collision. One of the standout matches will see PAC facing off against Komander. PAC, also known as “The Bastard,” is a highly skilled wrestler known for his high-flying moves and intense style. Komander, on the other hand, is a rising star in AEW and will be looking to make a name for himself by taking on PAC.
The updated lineup for AEW Collision also includes a match for the newly introduced AEW TBS Championship. Julia Hart will be facing off against Trish Adora in an Open House Match for the championship. This match will be an opportunity for both wrestlers to showcase their skills and potentially become the inaugural champion.
Another match to look forward to is Kyle O’Reilly versus Bryan Keith. O’Reilly is a former member of the popular wrestling faction Undisputed Era and has a reputation for his technical wrestling ability. Bryan Keith, on the other hand, is a talented young wrestler who has been making waves on the independent circuit.
Fans of Japanese wrestling will also be excited to see Bryan Danielson take on Katsuyori Shibata. Danielson, formerly known as Daniel Bryan in WWE, has been making a name for himself in AEW with his intense and hard-hitting style. Shibata is a legendary Japanese wrestler known for his strong style and stiff strikes, making this match a dream matchup for many wrestling fans.
Lastly, the AEW World Tag Team Tournament will kick off on this episode of AEW Collision. Tag team wrestling has always been a prominent feature in AEW, and this tournament will showcase some of the best tag teams in the promotion competing for a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Overall, this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite may have had a slight adjustment in viewership numbers, but it continues to deliver exciting matches and storylines for wrestling fans. With matches like PAC versus Komander and Bryan Danielson versus Katsuyori Shibata, AEW Collision promises to be an action-packed episode that fans won’t want to miss.
