Swerve Strickland vs. Keith Lee was supposed to take place at the AEW Worlds End 2023 pay-per-view event from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York.
However, Lee is not medically cleared to wrestle and will be replaced by Dustin Rhodes.

The AEW Worlds End 2023 pay-per-view event, which was scheduled to feature a match between Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee, has undergone a change due to Lee’s medical condition. Lee has not been cleared to wrestle and will be replaced by Dustin Rhodes.
The announcement was made by Tony Khan, the president of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), on Twitter. Khan stated that due to an injury, AEW doctors cannot clear Keith Lee for his match at Worlds End. In response, Dustin Rhodes, Lee’s Naturally Limitless partner, has stepped in to face Swerve Strickland instead.
Despite this change, the AEW Worlds End 2023 card remains stacked with exciting matches. The main event will see AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF defend his title against Samoa Joe. Additionally, the Continental Classic Tournament Finals will feature Eddie Kingston taking on Jon Moxley.
Other notable matches include AEW TNT Champion Christian Cage facing Adam Copeland in a No Disqualification match, AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm defending her title against Riho, and AEW TBS Champion Julia Hart facing Abadon.
