In a recent appearance on the “WrestleBinge” podcast, Lance Archer expressed his desire for a match with MJF, noting that AEW is protecting the roster by keeping him away from the ring.
Archer competed at AEW Battle Of The Belts VII where he unsuccessfully challenged Orange Cassidy for the AEW International Championship.
You can check out some highlights from the interview below:
On AEW protecting the roster from him: “They’re scared to death of me, that’s what’s going on. They’re trying to save the roster. If I come back, then everybody dies.”
On MJF: “I wanna kick his f**king ass. A, he’s the champion, so I wanna be the champion. B, his attitude is what it is. C, you’ve got to fight the best if you want to be the best, and right now, he’s the best in AEW, he’s one of the best in the business.”
In other news, Nick Aldis wrapped up his brief return to Impact Wrestling at the latest television tapings and received huge praise for his work.
Aldis addressed his departure on Twitter, noting that Impact Wrestling is in good hands. He wrote,
“#Slammiversary was a fantastic ppv start to finish and I was honored to be in the main event. It was a huge challenge following all the great matches on the card, and I felt we offered something totally different and unique. The future of @IMPACTWRESTLING is in good hands.”
