Lance Archer To Face Pineapple Pete On Next Week’s AEW Dark

Pineapple Pete has quite the foe in his foreground as it’s been announced that the man known as Suge D will be taking on Lance Archer. Fans became familiar with Suge after Jericho called his hate for the man and his wardrobe back in April. Jericho then faced Pete on an episode of Dynamite where he disposed of the indie vet in quick fashion with the Judas Effect. Now he’s literally got a taller order as he goes up against Archer, but Pete isn’t showing any fear as he’s all but ready for next week.

Hey @LanceHoyt;

Heard you hit like a bitch.

See you Tuesday.

I’m sure @IAmJericho will enjoy next wks #aewdark when I purée @SugarDunkerton and serve him as healthy snack at catering (although 🍍 Pete looks kinda sour) pic.twitter.com/TyaKfQKZKJ

Pete did respond to Archer stating, “I know you can hurt people. We’ve seen it. I just ain’t scared of that. I’d do ANYTHING to stop being a face in the crowd on Dynamite. Even step to you. You wanna dice me up? You’re gonna work for it.” Suge made sure to let the fans know that he’s got nothing to lose. “That’s where y’all get it wrong about wrestling,” he said. “You should be VERY concerned about the guy who keeps getting dealt physical & mental blows, but willingly comes back to work with a smile. I’m supposed to be scared of an ass-whooping? Tuh.”

Suge did face off against Shawn Spears recently as the now “Heartless” one made use of the glove given from Tully Blanchard and gave Suge a heart punch handing him another defeat.
