AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest Night Two concluded with a huge IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship Texas Death Match. Jon Moxley defended the gold against Lance Archer in a chaotic match that started off crazy and grew increasingly violent. In the end, “The Murderhawk Monster” put Moxley down for the count to win the title.

From the very start, both superstars went all out in the Death Match, throwing big haymakers at one another before they battled it out with various items like kendo sticks, the security barricade, and even a human being at one point. As the fight eventually spilled outside of the ring and toward the crowd, Moxley somehow found a fork and shockingly stabbed Archer in the forehead with it, causing him to bleed heavily. Despite the wound, Archer persevered and refused to stay down for the ten count.

The two stars continued to wage war, trading trash can shots before Moxley sought to end the bout in brutal fashion. After he hit the Paradigm Shift on Archer, the challenger popped back up and flipped Moxley off. Fueled by this disrespect, Moxley repeatedly hit Archer with the fork before he laid barbed wire boards on some tables at ringside. As he began to set Archer up, “The Murderhawk Monster” surprised Moxley with the fork by stabbing hi with it. The brutal blows gave Archer enough room to lift the champion up and chokeslam him through the tables for the win.

After the match, New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Hikuleo confronted Archer ahead of their title match next week.
