WWE Superstar Lana was recently a guest on The Matthew Aaron Show and went into detail about why she stopped posting pictures of her family on social media.
She said that fans would often comment on her posts with horrendous comments due to them not liking her on screen character.
Lana said, “It was back in 2014 when we were doing the super Rocky IV, patriotic towards Russia, and to me there is nothing wrong with being patriotic to your country. The United States of America decided to come on my Instagram and if I would post a picture of my nephew that was literally three weeks old, they would be like, ‘He’s the ugliest baby in the world! We hope he dies! USA! USA!’ People are sick. I stopped posting anything of my family because normal people are not as tough as WWE superstars.”
When it comes to more recent WWE events, Lana said that both she and Bobby Lashley received death threats due to their 2019 WWE love story. Of course it was just a storyline as Lana is still married to Rusev in real life.
