Lana stepped back in the squared circle and did it with some close friends she made while under the WWE banner. The former WWE star going by her real name CJ Perry, was released by the company on June 2, but her ties and friendships remain strong as she shared a photo of being back in the ring at TJ Wilson and Natalya Neidhart’s Workhorse Warehouse with several of those colleagues.

In sharing the photo she had with Natalya, TJ, Sonya Deville, Liv Morgan and Nikki Cross, Lana briefly opened up about her apprehension about facing her friends once more after no longer being a fellow employee, but she shared how proud she is of herself for doing it and wanting to continue her journey (she even tossed a little zinger at the end).

“I was a little scared to face my friends after I lost my job,” Lana Tweeted, “But I’m so glad I picked myself up and continued my journey because I want to, not because I have to and I only cried once! Plus, I did a 970 splash but nobody saw it.”

Lana was one of several cuts on June 2 that included names like Aleister Black and Braun Stroman and like the latter mentioned, her name has been talked about as a potential star perhaps en route to All Elite Wrestling. Her husband Miro, thanked her on Dynamite.
