Lana is one of many WWE wrestlers affected by yesterday’s ban on third-party activity. She is an active user on TikTok and Instagram as well as a Twitch streamer, supporting her husband, former WWE wrestler Miro (FKA Rusev).

Among the reports to come out from the ban was one by Dave Meltzer, who stated on the F4W Online boards that her recent sponsorship deal with Bang Energy Drinks was “the straw that broke the camel’s back” in regards to the social media situation.

Earlier today, Lana took to Twitter to deny such allegations, calling out Meltzer indirectly and saying that she was the wrestling community’s “escape goat.”

I am not the straw that broke the camel’s back. You know who you are and that is false ……. but thank you for writing about me…. all of you. I am your escape goat

These kinds of sponsorships are not new, and we’ve seen several other WWE performers take them up in addition to streaming on Twitch and performing on Cameo to make additional revenue in a time when WWE isn’t touring and less money is coming their way.
