LA Knight’s Television Debut & Non-Title Match Added To NXT

The former Eli Drake will appear on tonight’s NXT.

WWE announced that LA Knight will make his first television appearance on the yellow brand. He initially appeared at the last NXT TakeOver and will now appear at the Capitol Wrestling Center.

Additionally, a non-title match has been added to the show featuring the tag team champions. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch will now face Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher since MSK’s Wes Lee is injured.

Here’s how WWE.com hypes up the match:

Confronting Nash Carter & Lee at the Capitol Wrestling Center, Lorcan & Burch called the injury a “blessing in disguise.” The Blackheart overheard the champions’ trash talk and his interest was piqued.

Though Ciampa & Thatcher couldn’t go all the way, they forged a memorable Dusty Classic run in their own right. Banding together after earning each other’s respect in an unforgettable battle in the Fight Pit, Ciampa & Thatcher complemented their no-nonsense styles with surprisingly strong chemistry.

It looks like @ONEYLORCAN and @strongstylebrit’s mouths got them a match tomorrow night on #WWENXT against @NXTCiampa and Timothy Thatcher. pic.twitter.com/XliAE3gJ4Q
