Regarding his rivalry with Roman Reigns, he said, “It was a significant juncture, something I didn’t see coming so soon. It was just about a year since LA Knight made his SmackDown debut in October 2022 and already by early November 2023, I was fighting in the WWE Championship match in Saudi Arabia, headlining the event. My journey condensed into such a brief span was surreal and called for adjustments. Thoughts of belongingness clouded my mind but the rapid progress assured me that I was in the right place.”
With regards to clinching the US Championship, LA Knight stated, “The US Championship has cemented my belief in my talent. My journey to SummerSlam could unfold into anything. I no longer question my place because with the US title, I know I have earned my spot.”
On his face-off with Reigns, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles at the 2024 Royal Rumble, he expressed, “Confronting seasoned WWE wrestlers like Roman, Randy, and AJ made me feel like a misfit initially.
