LA Knight Expresses Disapproval of Being Compared to Bryan Danielson’s ‘YES! Movement’
– ADVERTISMENT –

LA Knight may be telling everybody ‘YEAH’ but he isn’t fond of his popularity being compared to Bryan Danielson’s ‘YES! Movement’.

The fan-based movement of the 2010s resulted in Danielson (Daniel Bryan at the time) capturing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 30 in 2014.

Speaking to “SHAK Wrestling,” Knight was asked about comparisons to the YES! Movement and a potential match with the American Dragon. He said,

“Oh boy! You never know. But, you know, that’s why people online started calling it the YEAH Movement. And I’m like, why are we doing that? It’s so close to Yes [Movement], don’t do that. I’d rather call it a revolution because that’s what I feel more like it is. But you know, whatever. At this point, they’ve already done it.”

Knight will team with John Cena to face The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso) at tonight’s WWE Fastlane Premium Live Event.

Danielson competed at last weekend’s AEW WrestleDream event, where he defeated IWGP U.S./UK Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. in non-title action.

LA Knight, the charismatic WWE superstar, is making waves in the wrestling world with his catchphrase “YEAH.” However, he wants to make it clear that his popularity should not be compared to Bryan Danielson’s iconic “YES! Movement.”

The YES! Movement, which took place in the 2010s, was a fan-based movement that propelled Danielson (known as Daniel Bryan at the time) to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 30 in 2014. It became a symbol of unity and support for Danielson, with fans chanting “YES!” in unison.

In a recent interview with “SHAK Wrestling,” LA Knight was asked about the comparisons to the YES! Movement and the possibility of facing Bryan Danielson in a match. Knight expressed his disapproval of the comparisons, stating, “That’s why people online started calling it the YEAH Movement. And I’m like, why are we doing that? It’s so close to Yes [Movement], don’t do that. I’d rather call it a revolution because that’s what I feel more like it is.”

Knight believes that his rise to popularity should be seen as a revolution rather than a movement. He wants to establish his own identity and not be overshadowed by comparisons to Danielson’s past success. While he acknowledges the similarities in fan support, Knight wants to carve out his own path in the wrestling industry.

Despite his reservations about the comparisons, LA Knight continues to make a name for himself in WWE. He will team up with John Cena to face The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso) at tonight’s WWE Fastlane Premium Live Event. This high-profile match demonstrates Knight’s standing within the company and his potential for future success.

On the other hand, Bryan Danielson recently competed at AEW WrestleDream event, where he defeated IWGP U.S./UK Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. in a non-title match. Danielson’s move to AEW has created excitement among fans, as they eagerly anticipate his future matches and storylines in the promotion.

Both LA Knight and Bryan Danielson are talented wrestlers who have made an impact in their respective promotions. While Knight wants to distance himself from the comparisons to the YES! Movement, it is undeniable that both superstars have garnered significant fan support and attention.

As wrestling fans, we can appreciate the individuality and unique contributions of each wrestler. LA Knight’s “YEAH” may not be the same as Daniel Bryan’s “YES!,” but it represents his own journey and the support he has gained from fans. Ultimately, it is up to the fans to decide how they want to embrace and celebrate their favorite wrestlers.

In conclusion, LA Knight’s popularity should not be compared to Bryan Danielson’s YES! Movement. Knight prefers to see his rise to fame as a revolution rather than a movement. Both wrestlers continue to make waves in their respective promotions, and fans can enjoy their unique contributions to the wrestling world.
