LA Knight Defeats The Miz At WWE Payback 2023, John Cena Officiates
During Saturday night’s WWE Payback 2023 pay-per-view event, John Cena, the host of WWE Payback, made himself the guest referee for LA Knight vs. The Miz.
The Miz protested but Cena did not budge, so the match was made official.
Eventually, in spite of both competitors having arguments with Cena, Knight scored the victory over The Miz and had a staredown with The Champ afterward, who shook and raised his hand as a sign of respect.
