Kyle Fletcher Throws Barbs At Will Ospreay, Willow Nightingale Wants To Face Kamille

In a recent interview on the “Battleground” podcast, Willow Nightingale stated her wish to square off with Kamille in a future AEW match. Highlights of the podcast are shared below:

Talking about her choice of adversary:  “That’s an interesting question. Kamille appears to me as a remarkable new element in our division. When you see her, the initial impression you get is that she’s a strong and formidable woman. That’s the culture of the AEW women’s division – we are full of intense, assertive, and powerful women. Therefore, it’s intriguing to anticipate her role in the existing scenario.”

Discussing Kris Statlander’s function in the quarrel with Mercedes Mone:  “Although I have ended my face-off with [Kris Statlander], I find the role she’s playing between Stat and Mercedes intriguing. Given the power tussle, I wonder how I, who thrive on a power-based move set, would fare against Kamille. I look forward to seeing this unfold. In essence, a duel between Kamille and me.”

In the previous episode of AEW Dynamite, Kamille competed, defeating Queen Aminata in a one-on-one match.

In the same episode of the “Battleground” podcast, Kyle Fletcher deliberated his ongoing feud with Will Ospreay and his final objective.

Talking about his recent makeover:  “That was a reflection of perhaps years of accumulated frustration. The reason why I shaved my head is to let go of the constant comparison to Will Ospreay. It signifies a rebirth into a new era where Kyle Fletcher can stand alone and assert his individuality.”

Regarding Will Ospreay’s progress:  “Observing his career path, including his bouts with Okada and the events involving him and Omega, he demonstrated the optimal way to step out of someone’s shadow. I left New Japan with a desire to chart my own course… and Ospreay ended up following me here.”

Talking about his ultimate ambition:  “I am clear about my ultimate objective being the best of all time and becoming a multiple-time world champion. The route to that goal is still not concrete. However, the immediate next step in that direction is to leave Ospreay behind.”
