When it comes to Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita, it’s clear that their camaraderie extends past the ring’s confines.
Indeed, Fletcher doesn’t shy away from acknowledging this rapport and always takes it in his stride.
During his recent guest appearance on the “Good Karma Wrestling” podcast, a discourse ensued about Fletcher’s equation with Takeshita and the essence of their collaboration.
Fletcher expressed, “This man here, my husband Takeshita. What can be said about him? Firstly, he’s stunning. He’s well-endowed, that’s for sure. Just jesting, truly jesting. Besides myself, he’s the one I look forward to seeing perform in the ring the most. His style has evident Japanese wrestling influences, which I’m a fan of. It exudes a sporty feel and presentation. Each of his forearm throws makes me believe he’s annihilated someone. This is what contemporary wrestling often lacks and what I always strive to emulate. Watching Takeshita makes me think, ‘He’s truly decimating them. Amazing.'”
Though Fletcher doesn’t have a match lined up at AEW Dynasty 2025, he’ll join forces with his “husband” in the upcoming Saturday episode of AEW Collision, where the duo will be ranged against Powerhouse Hobbs and Tomohiro Ishii.
