AEW wrestler Kyle Fletcher recently appeared on “The Outerhaven” podcast where he shared an update on his fellow wrestler, Mark Davis, who has been out of action since October 2023 due to a wrist injury. Although Fletcher refrained from disclosing too much about Davis’s situation, he assured listeners that he’s doing well. Fletcher also discussed the uncertain future of Aussie Open and how he has grown and changed while Davis has been absent.
The podcast also featured discussions on the upcoming faceoff between Nigel McGuinness and Bryan Danielson on the next episode of AEW Grand Slam: Dynamite. Former ROH President Cary Silkin offered his thoughts on Busted Open Radio podcast about the long history between the two wrestlers and what AEW should consider with their feud.
Silkin, discussing the history between the two, mentioned, “They wrestled each other 24 times… They were the pinnacle, despite all those names [of stars who wrestled in ROH].” In relation to AEW and the feud, Silkin’s advice was that it would be beneficial to reeducate the audience about their past.
