After viciously attacking Velveteen Dream earlier this month during an episode of NXT, Kushida will be getting his very first match at an NXT TakeOver pay-per-view, where he’ll get to battle it out against Dream on the biggest stage.
Ever since returning to the world of NXT, Velveteen Dream has also had his own string of viciousness to him, including against Kushida. After both superstars came up short in their chase for the NXT North American Championship, they’ll now face off against each other and look to build on a budding rivalry.
NXT TakeOver 31 is set to take place on Sunday, October 4, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. ET, and will be streamed on WWE Network.
