Kurt Angle, a retired professional wrestler and Olympic gold medalist, has expressed his wish to have had the opportunity to wrestle with certain current All Elite Wrestling (AEW) superstars. He made these remarks during a recent Q&A session on his podcast, “The Kurt Angle Show.”
Responding to a question about which wrestlers he would have liked to compete with during his prime wrestling years, he stated, “Oh I love Will [Ospreay], yeah, he is another one I would love to collaborate with in the ring. I saw this incredible match he had with Kenny [Omega] that was absolutely mind-blowing. Can you imagine being part of a Triple Threat Match alongside those two?”
Angle, who retired following his WrestleMania 35 defeat against Baron Corbin, has ruled out the possibility of signing with AEW, despite having had discussions with Tony Khan, the promotion’s president, on separate occasions.
Meanwhile, Will Ospreay recently lost the AEW International Championship to MJF in an epic showdown that lasted nearly an hour during the 250th episode of AEW Dynamite. In other news, Kenny Omega has been on hiatus from wrestling since the end of 2023 due to his fight with diverticulitis. There’s yet to be more information regarding his return to the wrestling ring.
