In a recent conversation with The Takedown portrayed on SI.com, WWE Hall of Fame inductee, Kurt Angle, made it clear he has no intentions of wrestling John Cena during Cena’s farewell tour. He stated,
“A lot of people ask me if I’m gonna wrestle Cena for his retirement tour [laughs]. No, no, listen, my body, I have knee replacements, I had five neck surgeries, I had my back surgery last year. I have to have shoulder replacements. I am in no condition to be getting in the ring and wrestling. Don’t get me wrong, I do some stuff. I don’t think I can get in the ring. I can probably get in the ring and wrestle, but I don’t want to take the chance of getting injured.”
Furthermore, another previous WWE Superstar – Baron Corbin also shared his thoughts with The Takedown on SI.com. Corbin deliberated on his career in WWE and how he has been able to adapt to any situation. Corbin mentioned,
“I think my legacy will be a guy who can be put in any situation and make it work. What I want it to be and what it will be may be different. I would love to be a guy who gets invited to the Hall of Fame 10 years from now.”
