WWE Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle, recently revealed in a virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest that he is open to engaging in some wrestling activities, but isn’t considering the option of a full match. His statement read as follows:
“I wouldn’t reject the idea of executing a move or two in the ring. However, if you are hoping for me to participate in a complete wrestling match, I regret to say that’s not on the cards. But, I am equipped to bear a few slams, for sure.”
Angle is preparing to grace the wrestling ring with his presence in the GameChanger Wrestling event ‘GCW Dream On’ in November.
In other wrestling news, on the “Rasslin” podcast, Orange Cassidy was full of admiration for his peer, Will Ospreay. He credits him as one of the greatest wrestling professionals in the current scenario.
Here are few snippets from the podcast:
With reference to Ospreay’s British Accent: “Man, did you ever listen to him speak? He has the most authentic British accent I have ever come across. It’s not like he started using ‘Bruv’ as a popular word, it’s actually a part of his everyday vocabulary.”
On Ospreay’s prowess: “I am going to state my belief that Will Ospreay could perhaps be the best professional wrestler in the present world of wrestling. Definitely within the top three. It’s predictable to mention Bryan Danielson since we all acknowledge his supremacy and his championship reign. Regardless of who he’s wrestling with or the setting, he never fails to engage the crowd spectacularly. As much as I respect Will, Kenny Omega also makes it to this list. However, as for me, I do not see myself in their league.”
