During a recent episode of the “Stories With Brisco & Bradshaw” podcast, ex-WWE Superstar Kurrgan, also known as Robert Maillet, shared his experiences from his early career days. He spoke about his initial journey with WWE, the remuneration he received, and much more.

Here are a few key takeaways from the podcast interview:

Regarding his time spent in Memphis, Kurrgan revealed, “Memphis was an interesting phase in my life because it was initially supposed to be for a month. But one month soon stretched to two, then three, followed by four. There was no assurance of any sort. We could have been let go any given day and made to return home. During that period, facilities like internet and Skype weren’t available.”

Addressing the question of his pay during that time, he said, “I believe my wages were around 0 weekly, in addition to the earnings from the shows. I earned about per night for shows featuring Jerry Lawler.”
