After participating in AEW All Out 2024, Kris Statlander found herself comforting a few intimate body aches, much to fans’ enjoyment.
She was pitched against Willow Nightingale at the event, where she took part in a Chicago Street Fight. Statlander missed a scissors kick during the match causing her to land on thumbtacks, which caused considerable discomfort.
During a recent episode of the “Ring The Belle” podcast, Statlander humorously commented on the unforeseen consequence of her performance for the audience’s entertainment. Her words were,
“I didn’t feel good about it. It wasn’t what I wanted to happen. It also wasn’t the best plan to be like, ‘Let me go for a scissor kick’, because I was gonna have to land on it in some degree anyway. I wasn’t planning on her moving out of the way. That wasn’t my goal but on the bright side, it got one of the craziest reactions I’ve ever heard and I am happy I was able to create that moment by sacrificing my loin.”
Statlander might’ve had a tough time but she aced the match in just 15 minutes, marking it the quickest match of All Out 2024’s main card.
There’s more action to come as Statlander is all set to challenge AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone at the nearing AEW Full Gear 2024 event, on November 23.
