Bad luck for Kota Ibushi, who has already been off of New Japan live events due to an ongoing bout of the flu. Hochi News is reporting that the star is now suffering from Mallory Weiss syndrome, a condition that causes internal bleeding after repeated rounds of vomiting.
According to the report, Ibushi will now be out on recovery throughout the remainder of NJPW’s New Beginning Tour, including shows in Osaka and Sapporo and the entirety of their United States presence in the coming weeks.

Several of the scheduled matches with Kota Ibushi have already been rebooked, with Rocky Romero often taking his place on the card. New Japan is also offering refunds for a scheduled meet and greet in Miami that was to take place this coming Thursday. We at WrestleZone wish him a speedy recovery beyond the current tour.
