The months continue to present health challenges for Konnan, who spent a full four weeks in medical care prior to his latest release. However, this does not necessarily guarantee that his wellbeing is entirely restored.

The Triple A promoter has faced a string of serious health concerns forcing him to undergo a successful cardiac operation. The procedure was necessitated due to difficulties originating from a prior COVID-19 diagnosis, which he tested positive for in February 2021.

As he advanced into 2022, Konnan faced the need for another renal transplant. This transplant marked the second of its kind that the active 60-year-old wrestling figure has received, with his first transplant dating back to 2007.

Despite the expectations of a successful result, Konnan faced hurdles when his body reacted adversely to the transplant, provoking the need for anti-rejection drugs. Recently, he was admitted to the hospital due to a diverticulitis condition.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Konnan’s health troubles have remained persistent since his hospital discharge. Based on the report, there were instances where Konnan struggled with breathlessness, showcased lethargy, and even faced an unnerving seven-hour hyperventilation spell. It was also deduced that a water swell of about eight pounds had developed around his heart, which was later removed before he was granted discharge. The quote from the report reads, “Konnan had issues with being out of breath and lethargic and at one point was hyperventilating for seven hours and was diagnosed as having eight pounds of water accumulating around his heart and they got it out and released him from the hospital again.”

In conclusion, we at eWn lend our best wishes to Konnan and hope for his swift and complete recovery.
