On a recent episode of his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, AAA booker Konnan offered his judgement on AEW wrestler Daniel Garcia, stating that Garcia doesn’t have the necessary star quality, or X factor.
Just a few weeks ago, Garcia extended his contract with AEW. As Konnan described, “He just doesn’t come off like a star, bro. He doesn’t have that X factor. Probably Tony [Khan] paid him a lot of money to stay, and it’s another guy that didn’t go to WWE.”
Meanwhile, Garcia is gearing up to join forces with Private Party to face Jack Perry and The Young Bucks in the upcoming AEW Dynamite event. This match is set to occur on Wednesday, October 23, at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In another corner of the professional wrestling world, NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd had some harsh words to say about Satoshi Kojima, who has been vigorously promoting his future MLW World Heavyweight Title fight against Bobby Fish next month.
Kidd initially tweeted, “Shut the f up Koji. No one gives a s.”
When Kojima retorted, “Why are you so bad-tempered? Show me your chin! I give you the lariat. And kiss my as.”, Kidd replied, “Because you ts made me do 1,000 squats everyday when everyone else was at home watching Netflix and shagging you little bread shagger! Satoshi Kojima shags bagels. Pass it on.”
